I love dogs but i will not keep one.. Y?

When i was young, my uncle used to have a dog...poodle.. very cute and i love it very much...
But one day , it was found dead in the dustbin. It was covered with blood...
My uncle told me that the night before,, a burglar must haf entered the house at the rear door.He lived in a kampong at moulmein road.The poodle barked upon seeing a stranger.. the stranger(the burglar) was shocked.. in his panic,, he must have killed the poodle and threw it in the dustbin. The next day, my uncle woke up, wanted to feed the poodle but could not find it, searched high and low and then spotted blood in the drain... he followed the trail and saw the puppy in the dustbin.. He called me up telling me abt the dead puppy.. i was so sadddddddd... i cried buckets of tears... i haf lost something that i love very much... from that incident,,, i told myself not to keep a dog.. coz their life span is abt 14 yrs.. when they disappear from me...i will be very sad....
